Terms & Conditions

Last reviewed: 29 May 2026

These Terms & Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Transfera. Please read them carefully. By creating an account or using this platform you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About us

Transfera is operated by SB Marketing Limited, registered in Northern Ireland (the "Company", "we", "us", "our"). Registered office, Companies House number, and VAT number are shown in the site footer. We are an independent online educational preparation platform providing SEAG-style and 11 Plus-style practice materials for the Northern Ireland transfer test. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to SEAG, AQE, GL Assessment, any grammar school, or any official examination authority. All content is original and independently created.

2. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Transfera you confirm: (a) you are at least 16 years of age, or (b) you are a parent or legal guardian creating an account on behalf of a child under 16 and you accept these Terms on their behalf.

3. Child accounts and parental consent

Children under 16 may only use Transfera through an account created by a parent or legal guardian. By creating a child account the parent confirms they are the child's legal guardian, provides explicit consent for the processing of the child's data under UK GDPR Article 8, and acknowledges that consent is recorded with a timestamp and IP address for audit purposes.

4. Subscriptions and payment

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance via Stripe. Prices are in GBP and inclusive of VAT where applicable. New subscribers on paid plans receive a 7-day free trial. You have a statutory 14-day cooling-off period on annual subscriptions under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. You may cancel at any time via Account Settings; access continues to the end of the current billing period.

5. Acceptable use

You may not copy, redistribute, scrape, or commercially exploit platform content; share credentials; or attempt to circumvent subscription controls. Breach may result in immediate account suspension without refund.

6. Intellectual property

All content on Transfera is owned by or licensed to SB Marketing Limited and protected by copyright law. You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the platform for personal educational preparation only.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability is limited to the total subscription fees paid by you in the 3 months immediately preceding any claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of Northern Ireland. Any dispute shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Northern Ireland. Consumers resident elsewhere in the UK may also bring proceedings in their local courts.
